Oh yeah! I got an email…PRINT.  It is a disease in businesses across America.  We receive an email so we click our print button.  Or maybe we are surfing the web and we come across a website with useful information, PRINT!  Clicking our print button is an epidemic.  We don’t need to print every time we receive something.  That is why we did it electronically in the first place.  At Cary Printing we strive to use recycled paper and recycle the paper we use.  We send things via email and try to reduce the consumption of normal daily office paper.  On our presses, we strive to reduce waste as well.  We do our best to reduce scrap materials.

So next time you feel like printing just because you can, just stop and think.

What Exactly is “Green” Printing?

Green printing is a wave of the future.  Printing green is merely a way to make sure that we are doing everything in our power to protect our planet.  Here are three ways “green” printers are set apart from a normal printer.

1.)   Natural inks are used including soy based inks and vegetable-oil based inks.

2.)   Products are printed on recycled paper.  There are tons of different forms of recycled papers, check them out on our website: www.caryprinting.com. The least possible amount of paper is used, ultimately making less paper used.

3.) Finally and most importantly, these printers have received certifications from organizations such as PEFC, SFI and the FSC.  Make sure that the certifications are genuine!

Thanks for stopping by! If you want to know more about green printing, check out our website with all of our “green” certifications, after all we are the nation’s premier green printer.

Welcome

Welcome to the Cary Printing blog!  Ok, so what exactly can a printing company offer on a blog?  Well, we have a ton to offer.  First, we are the nation’s premier “green” printer.  Yeah, I could easily be making that up, but we are certified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (pefc.org), the Forest Stewardship Council (fscus.org), and The Sustainable Forest Initiative (sfiprogram.org).  Now those are our certifications, but we have won so many more awards that further drive home the point that we are a “green” printer.

So, again, what can you benefit from this blog?  Well, all sorts of things.  We will be informing you on our latest products, we’ll be telling you about some of the best marketing tips we have heard, we will give you a behind the scenes look at the printing press, you’ll hear what we are doing to stay green and more!  You don’t want to miss out on all of the incredible information we will be sharing.
